Cutting the cake again

cousins having a great time catching up. Grandpa and Grandma with some of the great- grandkids

Front to back: Natalia, Devin, Karley Jacob, Austin, Brock, Geneivive, and Caden out in front of the visitor center.
After checking out the visitor center this is how the boys kept themselves entertained.
It was a huge almost verticle climb to the top of the hill but all the kids held tight and made it to the top. Okay, your got me the pictures is just turned upside down. Ya, Karley is the biggest giveaway.
I thought I would take some time to document what we have been working on so long and so hard the past few months. I have so many emotions when it comes to this prop 8 issue. It was only in the last month of the struggle that I came to be grateful for the battle we were in. Grateful for the spirit that was with me everytime I opened my mouth to tell someone why I was standing up for the family. Grateful for the many chances I had to share what I believe with so many people. Grateful for the love of God that was poured out upon me while I was engadged in his work. Grateful for the youth and Young Adults who always came to help in the fight at a moments notice. Grateful for the bond that I felt with family and friends as we slaved for the cause. I am especially grateful for the way that most of the Yes on 8 voters conducted themselves when they found themselved face to face with the opposition. I will forever be grateful for the lessons learned and the spirit of love that I felt.
Lyndsay and Chad's ward after a sign waving party. It is so great to see how many were willing to help.

Tyson sent this picture of the plains that were writing "vote Yes on 8" the sfternoon before the electing. I have to tell you that my boys were so excited to see the plains. When I was talking with out Bishop's wife about it she jokingly told her kids it was a sign from HEAVEN to vote yes. I thought it was funny.
